M.I.A.'s Middle Finger Steals Halftime Show

NBC put measures in place to prevent wardrobe malfunctions during last night's Super Bowl show, but they had no way to anticipate M.I.A.'s bird flipping, sh!t-talking moment -- what Pastemagazine co-founder, @JoshJackson, cleverly dubbed a "middle finger malfunction."

It happened during Madonna's stiff rendition of "Give Me All Your Luvin',"which also featured Nicki Minaj. With all eyes (and cameras) on Madge, it was 36-year-old rapstress M.I.A. who stole the show. She wagged her middle finger at the camera and followed up with "I don't give a sh!t"almost as a premeditated response to the controversy that was about to ensue.

Nicki Minaj's "Stupid Hoe"music video is officially too hot for teevee. BET has banned the Hype Williams-directed clip from its music programming. Iggy Azalea Signs to Interscope

If you haven't heard of Iggy Azalea, you soon will. Iggy has signed a multi-album deal with Interscope Records. She spoke to Billboard shortly after the signing, saying that it took her a minute to decide which label to go with.

"I went around to every label,"she tells Billboard.com. "I was like, 'Okay I want to meet your A&R, president, vice president, and marketing [team]. Who would do my marketing?' I wanted to know who'd be working on my project and I wanted to meet them."

"It's a family and it's a long-term commitment,"Iggy adds. "People aren't just asking you to sign for one album. They're asking you to sign for like three or four, sometimes five. That's like a marriage."

Interscope head honcho Jimmy Iovine compared the rising rapper to 2Pac. Her response? "You're absolutely insane."
